GRAND LEDGE LACROSSE CLUB EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Grand Ledge Lacrosse Club is accepting nominations to fill 1 seat on Grand Ledge Lacrosse Club Executive Board. The Executive Officer positions to be filled are as follows:

Description of all Executive Board Positions
The President shall provide a printed agenda and preside at all meetings of the GLLC and be a member Ex-officio of all committees. The President shall call all special meetings and appoint all special committees and shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the by-laws or by the GLLC board.
The Vice-President of Scheduling shall act as an aid to the President and any other outstanding committee chairman and shall perform duties of the President in the absence of that officer. The office shall perform all communication with surrounding schools, organizations, teams and report back to the club. This office will act as a liaison between this club and other lacrosse organizations for the purpose of setting game schedules each season as well as ensure referees are assigned to all scheduled home games.
The Vice-President of Technology shall act as an aid to the President and any other outstanding committee chairman and shall perform duties of the President and Vice-President of Scheduling in the absence of those officers. This office will be responsible for leading the clubs technological vision through but not limited to the clubs website and social media presence. This office will be responsible for electronically registering all club participants each season, managing online documents, and assisting coaches with game day technology as needed.
The
Secretary shall keep an accurate record of all meetings of the GLLC club, including minutes of the GLLC general meetings or special board meetings, provide printed copies of the past meetings minutes, conduct the correspondence delegated to him/her, and be custodian of communications, papers and documents belonging to the GLLC, and tally and record all balloted votes.
The Treasurer shall receive all moneys of the GLLC, shall keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures, and shall pay out funds only as authorized by the GLLC. The treasurer shall present a statement of account at every meeting of the GLLC and at other times as requested by the GLLC Board. The treasurer shall see to the completion and mailing of any insurance or state of Michigan forms when required.

To be nominated you must already be a Club member. A Club member consists of parents/guardians, school officials, local governmental officials, or other interested parties from the community who pay at least ($1.00) toward the fee of any player participating in the lacrosse program operated by Grand Ledge Lacrosse Club. Only those who have consented to serve if elected shall be eligible for nomination.
Nominations can be taken up until election day.
Election day will be May 16 and May 19, 2022 from 6:30pm – 9:00 pm at the Grand Ledge Community Stadium, “the Turf,” prior to and during the Men’s Varsity (May 16) and Women's Varsity (May 19) Lacrosse Games.
The five Executive Officer positions are as follows President, Vice President of Scheduling, Vice President of Technology, Secretary, and Treasurer.
